The Twenty-Five Year Fund currently has $27,000, which we received from your donations, as well as proceeds from the sale of the Deluxe Edition of the Profound Treasury. Our goal is to reach $50,000. The fund supports projects that further our Twenty-Five Goals.
In 2015, the Legacy Project helped fund two books by Chogyam Trungpa. We contributed to projects of the Shambhala Archives and helped plan an editing workshop at Naropa University. In 2016, we will help fund scholarships for seminars, retreats and workshops that present Chogyam Trungpa’s teachings.
In 2014, the Legacy Project provided over $2,500 to the Shambhala Archives for the digitization of unedited transcripts of Chogyam Trungpa’s lectures. We also gave $750 to help fund expenses connected with a new book on the great Tibetan teacher Milarepa. We gave $250 to the Chogyam Trungpa Annual Lecture at Naropa University and $500 to the Shambhala Archives’ video digitization campaign. Other grants and priorities will be reported in our NEWS features.
